In most cases yes, but it depends on the circumstances.  Your SES representative will evaluate your requirements and help you determine the most cost-effective approach based on those needs.

How is chlorine dosage controlled?

The regulation of water flow within the chlorinator directly influences the rate of chlorine delivery. A higher flow of water through the unit results in a faster release of available chlorine. This adjustment can be managed either manually or automatically and is as straightforward as modifying a valve setting.

Do all the tablets get soaked in water at the same time?

No, the chlorinator does not become filled with water. Only the lower part of the tablet layer within the feeder comes into contact with the water. The remaining tablets stay dry and are automatically dispensed to replace the ones that have been dissolved.

How often does the chlorinator need to be filled with Accu-Tab tablets?

This relies on two factors: the daily consumption of calcium hypochlorite (cal hypo) and the size of the chlorinator in use. Your Accu-Tab Specialist can provide a more accurate estimate once you have chosen a chlorinator for your facility.

What percentage of Chlorine are the Accu-Tab Tablets?

Accu-Tab Tablets are guaranteed to be 68.5% Available chlorine.  Unlike bleach which is unstable and has significant assay loss within a week, Accu-Tab maintains its chlorine strength for up to 1 year.

What requirements are needed to transport Accu-tab?
