How it works
The installation of the Accu-Tab system is straightforward and can be seamlessly incorporated into any existing system with minimal initial investment. Once operational, the system functions effortlessly and efficiently, requiring little to no ongoing maintenance.

Prior to water entering the distribution system, a portion diverts through the chlorinator where it comes into contact with the Accu-Tab tablets. The tablets erode at a consistent rate determined by the side stream’s flow rate, ensuring a consistent chlorine delivery. After chlorination, the water is reintroduced into the primary water line. When water flow ceases, the chlorinator automatically stops, preserving the tablets’ dry state during periods of inactivity. A control valve at the inlet enables precise control over chlorine residuals. Your plant can choose from both manual and automatic control systems to suit its particular requirements.
- A side stream is directed towards the chlorinator.
- Inside the chlorinator, Accu-Tab three-inch tablets are positioned on a sieve plate.
- The intake water flow to the chlorinator is regulated to manage chlorine delivery.
- Untreated water ascends through openings in the sieve plate, making contact with the bottom of the tablets.
- The remaining tablets stay dry.
- The water is reintroduced into the system with the precise chlorine dosage.
- The chlorinated water stream merges with the main water flow and proceeds into the distribution network.
